Then you go away for a week it feels like the best break in the world, and as for a fortnight... wow, what a difference, getting back into the routine is nigh on impossible!
And then on a rare opportunity you take three weeks or a month off and what happens? For the whole of the last week all you think about is returning home. Why can't that last week be like your very first week away?
Guess its all down to your perspective.....
So true. I love the long weekends. Just enough to unwind and no too much where I start missing home, or, eh, kids. Hope to see you soon!
ReplyDeleteYes hopefully soon Mona, will be there in October anyway :-)
DeleteOh, for a month away :) Glad to hear you have had a great time and loving your new blog.
ReplyDeleteWe had a day away today, I was exhausted between doing the noms last week and the launch last night but I now feel refreshed and recharged from our day at the beach :)
I know Lorna, and do feel blessed though as you know this time away has not come cheaply (and am not talking financially). Would rather have a long weekend in Ireland and a 'normal' life tbh, hence making every second of it count. Thanks so much for your comment and positive feedback. Delighted last night went so well, looks like I missed a great party and pleased its been dry enough for the beach for a change!!!
